The Christmas Present We Never Opened

We had a red Christmas Card under our tree for quite some time. We were going to open it up on Christmas morning, but we never did. Mike thought it would be fun to wait a little longer. I said OK. People think we are nuts for not opening it. Family and friends are trying hard to get at it. It's in a safe spot though. What's in the card you might ask.......only the gender of our new baby. We'll see how long we can hold out. It might need to be a Valentines Day surprise.
Baby Anderson due April 7, 2009.
Are we primitive or what. Either way, we are so excited and slightly terrified. How do you do three kids?

Congrats on #3 on the way. As far as handling 3 goes, I can tell you from experience that your life will never be the same, but it in totally great way. There are hard days, but somehow it all works out.

Anne, Your dad said that you were waiting for the big suprise. I think that is great. We didn't know with any of our three and the birth was just that much more exciting (in a good way, though). Hopefully you'll follow Sue's pattern. Good Luck!!!

No clue. I'm due the 8th, so I guess we get to find out together. :)

And you guys are going to find out this time?? WOW! I'm shocked.

But, hey by the time Valentine's day arrives, you may as well just wait the whole way until April. :)

I think it is so fun that you are keeping the suspense (at least for now). I couldn't do it, but I think it sounds fun when others do! =)
When I was expecting number three, I remember worrying about having more kids than hands and the adults being out numbered. As Josh put it, we had to switch from man-on-man defense to zone. It all works out!

Hey guys, How can you stand the suspense! We're so happy for you and your new little one. When our kids were trying to name our puppy, one suggested "wirey scissors." Maybe the boys would like that name for their new brother/sister? Aunt Nancy
