This blogging thing is fun. In just one night, we have written 3 posts. Well hang on people, we have only been married 6 1/2 years so this can't take too long. Right? Anyway, last Saturday we drove up to the Winter Quarters Temple. It being a 3 1/2 hour drive, required us to leave a little early in order to make it to our 10:00 am session. On the way up nature gave us a gorgeous sunrise, Kansas really is beautiful. Here is a picture from the road. 
That Sunday night as we were getting the boys ready for bed, Isaac, with his enchanting, mesmerizing, long-lashed blue eyes, looked sincerely at me and said, "Mom, I want to make popcorn balls that smell so sweet." As parents I guess we sometimes go against our better judgment (did I say it was already 8:45) to please these cute kids of ours. So don't tell SRS, but we made sweet smelling candy popcorn. The boys (including dad) were a little too excited about the popcorn, and we never did make them into balls, none-the-less, we enjoyed a Sunday night treat at 9:00 pm.
