Pie Day (3.14.2010)

3.14

It really is a reason to celebrate.
How else could we really understand the wonders of the circle? Further more, Pi's function in the normal distribution is extremely needful. I'm still just not quite sure why. At our house, and maybe it's because a very handsome Statistician lives here, we choose to celebrate this gift of numbers with a day of it's own. And while some might like to think about the circumference of a circle on a day like today(3.14.2010), we choose to celebrate Pie Day like this....

And like this...

And this...

And especially this....

With Friends....Lots of them.

And kids running all around.

It was a great way to kick off Spring Break too.

Hope y'all had a happy Pie Day this year.

It's a great holiday to celebrate even if you don't have a handsome Statistician at your house.
